Our last night in Paris was bittersweet. We were ready to move on to London, but we were sad to leave beautiful Paris behind. I don’t think we could’ve spent our last night In a better place. We got amazing flatbread pizza to go, grabbed several bottles of wine, and sat in a circle of about 12 and enjoyed the sunset at the Eiffel Tower. After polishing off the pizza and most of the wine we decided it would be a good idea to play cheers to the governor. If you’ve ever played, you can imagine how much attention we called to ourselves since the Eiffel lawn was packed with people. Some of the rules concluded with us rolling on the ground with laughter. It’s the best game to play when you have a big group of people!
A group of locals sat down near us shortly after we wrapped up our game and they started playing music. I know the Eiffel is a huge tourist destination, but many locals go there just to relax on the lawn and hang out which Is great! Who wouldn’t want to hang out there on a weekly basis?! When we kept singing their songs so loudly, they invited us over to join them. BEST FAREWELL EVER. Sitting under the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower with new friends will be a memory I’ll have forever.
