The most that I could ever tell you about Notre Dame was Quasimodo’s love for Esmeralda. Now I know that Notre Dame is one of the most breathtaking sites in Paris. “Our Lady of Paris” is one of the most famous church buildings in the whole world and is one of the finest examples of gothic architecture.
When we arrived to the church we were overwhelmed with the swarms of people, but we figured it was just because the church drew in such a large crowd. However, we had forgotten that it was V-Day which is a public holiday that marks the end of World War II in Europe. So there was tons of activities and things going on, so i’m sure that contributed to the crowds at the church as well.
As per usual, we had to stop and have a mini photoshoot 🙂
Long lines in the cold drizzling weather is always unfortunate, but it was worth it!
